FAQs (Frequently Asked Questions)
1.Who are you and what is this project about?
Our group is made up of 4 Drexel University undergraduate engineering students. This project is meant to create a low cost, indoor kite that will have the shape and colors of the Batman logo. The time given to complete this project is 10 weeks and in the end we have been asked to pitch our idea and present our product.
2.What is the purpose of this project?
Aside from designing and creating the project, other goals include learning the fundamentals of aerodynamics and material science, which are crucial to completing this project, as well as working with a budget and certain constraints. Also, because engineers usually work in teams, it is important to gain teamwork experience and learn how to get along with others.
3.What is an indoor kite?
An indoor kite is a kite that is designed to fly in a windless environment, either that is indoor or outdoor. The motion is typically generated by the user, who walks slowly along a path, straight or circular.
4.Why was this blog created?
This blog is meant to provide users information regarding our project. The blog will be updated weekly, showing our weekly progress on the crafting of our indoor kite. The site also provides information about the fundamentals of aerodynamics and material science, which are helpful to our project. Finally, a Biographies section has been created, that lists the names and some information about the team members and the course instructor.
